Laying the groundwork for the future, The Boudreaux Group has developed master plans for universities, colleges, residential communities, office parks, municipalities, churches and schools. We assist clients in the creation and clarification of a vision, delivering a strategic plan for both the short and long-term. A master plan can be as simple or as comprehensive as the client desires and may be both graphic and written. We address intended land use, pedestrian and vehicular circulation, infrastructure planning, architectural design standards, space needs analysis, growth projections, parking needs, phasing and cost estimating. Our goal is to help our clients realize the full potential of their property and to create a road map for planned growth.

As part of the master planning process, The Boudreaux Group engages countless stakeholders through creative and energetic input gathering in a variety of ways. During these engagements, we challenge participants to envision the potential of their environment and to identify what provides their unique character, beauty and relevance. Master planning requires equal measures of technical and people skills.  With foresight, we take into account existing conditions and what might happen in five, ten, fifteen or more years.  We listen carefully and build consensus.  There is nothing like the master plan process to build enthusiasm and bring an organization together around shared goals and principles.

The Boudreaux Group believes in the power of design to create communities and campuses that are not only livable, noble and beautiful, but also reflect and respect the sense of place and local culture.  Hand in hand with architecture are the palettes upon which buildings rise: the street, the block, the neighborhood, the town, the city, rural environs. How these palettes are designed, organized and planned for impacts quality of life in innumerable ways.
